The Birckalan Kaarti and history reenactor parade will march from the Viking Village to the stage, where the mayor of Pirkkala, Marko Jarva, will open the event. Duration: about 20 minutes. Departure from the Viking Village gate.
Only products made by hand from natural materials may be sold at the Birckala market. You will be able to buy clothes, jewellery, ceramics, natural cosmetic products and much more from the vendors’ Viking tents!
Here, children will get to play at being an archaeologist. Young archaeologists can even find a runestone at their own dig spot. Everyone can take one item with them from the site. The materials are free of charge. Children under seven years of age can attend when accompanied by an adult.
