Anna Fält is a folk musician, singing teacher and voice artist who primarily works on her solo projects, and she has toured mostly in Sweden and outside Europe in recent years. The focus of her concerts is on human voice and storytelling and her performances include, for example, oral poetry, incantations, herding calls and her own compositions. Anna’s concerts are meticulously planned experiences that she has performed since 2008.
She has performed on major festival stages in Denmark, in the meadows of France, on an oil tanker in Iceland, at the underground clubs of Russian Karelia as well as in New Zealand and museums, galleries, cultural centres and churches around the world.
This one-woman orchestra is focused on variations of the human voice and conservation of traditions through folk songs and her own compositions. Concert-goers often say that they have never before heard anything like this.
